So it turns out that Avatar is getting a sequel after all, but it may not be anything that we expect. Specifically, Cameron is looking to leave Pandora and explore the other planets of the Alpha Centauri star system. Does this mean that Avatar isn’t actually the story of the Na’vi, but the story of humans looking for any possible way to solve their energy crisis. Or perhaps Avatar is just the story of Cameron trying to make money. [L.A. Times]
