So, do any of you remember smoking scenes in Avatar? Anyone at all? We do. We remember one tiny little scene where Grace, the scientist portrayed by Sigourney Weaver, lights up a cigarette. Apparently, that is more than enough to give this movie a “black lung” rating. Does Avatar really condone smoking? Maybe. After all, it’s legal to smoke. So having one grown adult smoke in one scene in a movie seems … normal. It’s not like we had the Na’vi puffing down 3 packs a day! [Scenesmoker.org]
