Let’s face it, as action fans we find action failures just as exciting as action successes. Insane jumps over fire pits and brutal martial arts fist fights may be amusing, but crazy bike crashes and horrible injuries are astounding. It’s the whole “can’t look away from a train wreck” phenomenon. It’s downright shocking and grotesquely painful but we just can’t look away. You can find any number of these videos on the internet, but the craze that started the injury fad back in the nineties was the dumbest sport of all time “Backyard Wrestling”.

Really Dumb

Backyard Wrestling was by far the dumbest idea to come out of jackasses with too much free time. Think about it. Pro-Wrestling is a pretend sport in which highly trained athletes still get injured when taking all the necessary precautions. So what can a bunch of high school students hope to accomplish? Falling on their face apparently. I always believed that you shouldn’t assume that everyone will immediately try to emulate something that is dangerous, but I guess these idiots proved me wrong. Oh well, I suppose there is a reason we give out the Darwin awards. If one of these guys snaps their neck then we have one less guy ready to fall on his face to worry about.

Even Dumber

You know, I feel a little guilty but some of these videos are really, really funny. This one is crazy short but gets the point across very simply. The point is “what the hell were these guys thinking”. They jumped off a roof, onto a table, and expected not to be injured? Really? Well serves them right. Seriously watch this video over and over again their cries of pain just get funnier and funnier. Pay special attention to the guy in the yellow pants crying like a baby. He definitely took the most of the impact. I’m sure he broke his tailbone. Hah, do it again!
