George Nolfi, known for his work on The Bourne Ultimatum, originally planned to come back for the fourth Bourne installment. Nolfi did pen a full script, but in the end had to step away from Bourne 4 to write and direct The Adjustment Bureau. As a result, Josh Zetumer has signed on to write a new Bourne 4 script, in what has been described as a parallel narrative to the original first draft. Who is Josh Zetumer you may be asking? Well he is the guy who is in charge of making the new Dune script kick ass. Don’t get too excited, we probably won’t be seeing Jason Bourne riding sand worms any time soon. It is unclear if Zetumer will be integrating his script with Nolfi’s or if he will be starting from scratch, but as long as we get to see Bourne kick guys in the face, we are pleased. You hear that Zetumer? Kicks to the face make the best sort of plot. [THR]
