SyFy (may we re-iterate, still the worst named network on TV), is teaming up director Bryan Singer and writer Michael Petroni to develop a miniseries based on Mayan myth and conspiracy theories. It will focus mainly on what the Mayan calendar predicts for our end of days. The main character is a professor who runs around the world uncovering Mayan mysteries and seeking to avert global catastrophes. It’s kind of like a cross between The Da Vinci Code and Knowing.
