Bryan Singer has signed on to direct Jack the Giant Killer, a darker action oriented interpretation of Jack and the Beanstalk. Skeptics be calmed, because the movie will be written by Mark Bomback, who also wrote Live Free or Die Hard. In short, expect dying giants and explosions. [Heat Vision]
