Celebrities Head to Georgia

Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage) has been cast in the lead female role in Renny Harlins’s Georgia, and Val Kilmer has been cast in the leading male role. The story, set around last year’s military conflict between Russia and Georgia, involves a journalist (Kilmer) and cameraman who get caught up in the conflict when they become involved with a Georgian native (Chriqui) and a local doctoral student. For the record, this is the Georgia over by Russia, not the American state, although I am sure that would make a decent premise for a movie as well.[THR]
