Children of the Corn Getting Rebooted
Children are scary. Admit it! If they weren’t, the original Children of the Corn wouldn’t have been such a success. Of course, anything that was successful back then has to have a reboot now if it is to conform to our current day movie trends. So Ehren Kruger. known for his work on Transformers 2, is taking a shot at writing a new script for Children of the Corn. Supposedly, this new take on an old classic won’t have anything to do with the old movie at all. In fact, Kruger will be basing his script on the original Children of the Corn short story. In the end, this means the original movie and this reboot could end up being very different, as Kruger, it appears, wants. In his own words he says he wants to “bring something new” to the story.
