Neil Burger’s Dark Fields has needed a charismatic protagonist for a while. Originally, this protagonist was going to be Shia LaBeouf, but Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen seemed to bring into question how charismatic he actually was. So instead Bradley Cooper will be sitting in the protagonist role for this psychological thriller. The story is about a down and out guy who finds a drug that makes you smarter. Unfortunately, this drug has some side effects, and those side effects are: top secret government organizations trying to kill you. [Heat Vision]
