Doug Liman Blog: Cannes Photos From Premiere of Fair Game, Part 1
The morning I arrived at Cannes, I immediately had to go speak at the American Pavilion. I was told that I’d be speaking to film students but it turned out to be an audience that was almost exclusively made up of reporters. I made it to the Pavilion on time but they are so strict at Cannes that they wouldn’t let me in because I didn’t have my credentials yet — I had just landed. I had a cadre of publicity people with me trying to persuade the French guards to let me in (I was on the printed program) but I remained trapped outside until someone passed me a credential over the fence. I had to sneak into my own speaking engagement.

Every director with a film at Cannes has their name on the billboard above the Grand Palais
I took these all driving up to the premiere.
