Do not try this at home! I repeat, Do not under any circumstances try this at home!

We are showing you these videos, because these people are totally and utterly idiotic. They woke up one day, and decided “hey, you know what I want to do, make a bomb” and they did. Most of their attempts lead to property damage, unfortunate and untimely explosions (many right in their face) and trouble with the law. They also lead to hilarious videos for us to watch when we are bored at work. Still, though these guys may be tragically stupid enough to try something this idiotic for our amusement, you should not be. So once again, do not, do not, do not try this at home!!!

Homemade Shrapnel Bomb

These guys make a lethal explosive device to blow up their brother’s childhood toy. That is sick. For those of you who don’t know a shrapnel bomb basically deals damage by flinging razor sharp bits of metal at everyone in the surrounding area. It’s basically an improvised nail bomb. Now these guys were using it to blow up a plastic police station but if they had been just a little off in their timing, this bomb could have blown off their shins or worse!

Homemade Face Explosion

This kid makes a homemade explosive device, and buries it, thinking he is going to get a big boom once the fuse burns down. Well, he was right, the fuse burned down and he got a big boom. It’s just unfortunate that the fuse burned down when he was standing right over the bomb. Unfortunately the fuse broke in the middle of lighting it, causing it to burn down much quicker and activate the explosives before he could get away. As a result, this kid lost half of his hearing in his right ear.

Homemade German Art Project

Yes, believe it or not this was actually supposed to be an art project. The explosive device was surrounded by highly flammable liquid and was placed underneath a bridge. The goal was to make the wind current underneath the bridge spread out the fire in a perfect line. They get exactly what they want, almost too well actually. The fuel goes up so quickly they get a mushroom cloud! As an action fan, I say this definitely counts as art, both in the beauty of the explosion, and in the sheer fact that they didn’t get the cops called on them. Weird.

Homemade Unexpected Art Project

These guys lead a gasoline fuse to a pipe bomb that is surrounded by 60 ounces of gasoline. The result was a monumental explosion, which also accidentally causes some art. Simply by the way the pipe bomb was laid out, and the wind at the time, the fuel spread in a perfect X shape. As a result, the explosion also followed this perfect cross on the ground. Now that is high octane serendipity.

Homemade… Uh… As Bad As It Gets

We all know you want to see people getting injured… so here it is. This guy lights a bomb and puts his face right into it as it explodes. He gets away fine, but he is still a monumental idiot.
