In an astounding show of knowing ones limits, J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof have stepped back from attempting to make a Dark Tower movie adaptation. Why? Well, they are both massive fans of The Dark Tower. It would be a massive project, and it deserves to be done right, and both Abrams and Lindelof are so busy, they didn’t want to take a chance on screwing this us. We guess you have to be fans of the original to show respect for the original after all. [MTV]
