For those of you who were hoping to see a return of old Spock in the next J.J. Abrams Star Trek flick, you might be shit out of luck. Nimoy himself doubts that he will be in it. It is not that he doesn’t want to be in it, “If I get a phone call I’ll answer the phone, but I’m not expecting that call to come” he said. “I was useful to make the bridge between the original and the new and that’s done … I think I served a purpose and I’m happy that I was in it.” In short, oh Trekkies of the world, your fantasy may have come true.
