No! No say it isn’t so! Mark Hamill you were the Joker of our collective childhood! You perfected the evil voice. I don’t give a crap about Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson or anyone else who tries to put on the white face-paint (except for Daniel Day Lewis … he might do a good job … er … anyway). Don’t fucking leave us!

Oh well, all the whining in the world isn’t going to bring Mark Hamill back. Many of you may have heard that Batman Arkham Asylum is getting a sequel. Thankfully enough Mark Hamill will be coming back as the voice of the joker for Arkham Asylum 2, and that is pretty awesome. Only one issue though: he won’t be coming back again afterward. This came straight from the Hamill’s mouth: “This will be my last, there’s no question about that. But it’s the last hurrah.”

So you heard it here folks. Mark Hamill is done with the Joker forever. There is nothing you can do about it, the role is dead and the insane high pitched clown laughter we all knew and loved is going with it.

Wait a minute …

Does this mean that we won’t ever see an Arkham Asylum 3 as well?
