Will Mad Max be the same without Mel Gibson? We really don’t know. We do know, however, that Gibson would have liked to do the role. It’s simply a fact of life that he is too old to be a highway warrior. Gibson was recently asked about the upcoming Mad Max sequel, and he was quoted as saying “Oh gosh, I don’t know what he’s up to. Not with me, I don’t think, man, I’m a bit old and long in the tooth for that number … You need somebody who can get around a bit quicker.” Kudos for knowing your limits Gibson. [Herald Sun]
