The buzz in the Cruise camp may currently be on his new spy thriller Knight and Day, but that hasn’t stopped the interest in the latest MI film. Both Brad Brad and Edgar Wright were being considered to helm the big budget project, but Bird has won the spot, according to EmpireOnline. Bird’s credits are primarily in animation, or at least his most popular films. He wrote and directed Ratatouille and The Incredibles, both of which received academy awards for best animated feature film. Who knows if he will be able to bring his magic to the Mission Impossible franchise, but one thing is for sure, if Scott Pilgrim VS The World kicks ass, which it should, producers may regret not hiring Wright. We will bring you more information on Mission: Impossible 4 as it becomes available.
