Remember The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger and The Sum of All Fears? They were all based on Tom Clancy novels and centered around the character Jack Ryan. Now, another Jack Ryan movie will be made, but it won’t oddly enough, be based on a Tom Clancy novel. It will be an original screenplay that picks up with Jack Ryan on Wall street. Chris Pine has been placed in the role of Jack, and the script has been written by Hossein Amini with a rewrite by Adam Cozad coming soon. [Comingsoon.net]
