Paramount and Platinum’s Double Thriller Deal
Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form’s Platinum Dunes is now working with Paramount on two different thriller movies. The first is The Butcherhouse Chronicles, a thriller that is being written by Grudge writer Stephen Susco. It is a story about a bunch of teens with personal issues who get stuck in a haunted house. Sounds a whole lot like The Breakfast Club to us. The second, Property of the State, is about a young criminal trying to go straight but fails because he is being hounded by an obsessive policeman. Sounds a whole lot like The Breakfast Club to us. Then again Transformers 2 also sounded like The Breakfast Club to us.
