Paramount Wants So Many Paranormal Activities

Paramount has started a new initiative to spend $1,000,000 a year on 10-20 micro-films. By micro-films, they mean tiny little found video productions, much along the lines of Paranormal Activity. The idea is to produce movies with a budget of $100,0000 dollars or less, and collect massive return, even if the movies are not that popular. Devious, but probably a good plan. More Paranormal Activity is always a good thing. Just be careful you don’t slip into making Girls Gone Wild. [Variety]
