Someone has finally decided to follow up on Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ, and no, it isn’t Mel Gibson! Indie producer Bill McKay is working on a movie called Resurrection of the Christ, and yes, it is about exactly what you think. Relative new-comer Dan Gordon will be writing the script, while Jonas McCord (who is responsible for, of all things, and episode of Tales From the Crypt) will be directing. [Variety]
