Please Hit Me With a Car

I stumbled upon something very strange the other day while browsing videos on my daily websites. It was a video, of someone willing fully standing in front of a car as it barreled down the street and hit him dead on with all of his friends watching. Now, that was a stupid idea, but what was more stupid was the fact that the “related videos” sections of these websites were chock full with other people doing the exact same thing! When did this become the big after school craze!? I suppose this is a good argument for the power of peer pressure, because seriously how would anyone end up doing this shit if they weren’t goaded into it by their friends. Parents, keep track of your children, and be lenient when you catch them smoking in the bathroom or looking at porn, because seriously, they could be doing this with their spare time…

Hey What Are You Doing Today?

Look at the sheer amount of damage this kid’s back did to this car windshield. This was no accident. He was waiting a good ten seconds staring straight at the car before it plowed into him. Yes these guys are random jackasses and yes they are surviving, but I don’t think I need to say that you shouldn’t ever try anything like this at home.

Backside Fail

Here is another guy who said “Hey, I’ll stand here and you can just plow into me with your car” except he seems to be a little less professional than our first video. He tries to do the whole “hit the windshield with your back” thing, but fails and rolls over the top of the vehicle. Then he is catapulted off the car into a nearby signpost screaming the whole time. He survived, but that was definitely the end of his stunt career.

More Than He Bargained For

Once again, this guy willingly got hit by his friend’s car, except this time it was for the big big sum of five bucks. He must have really needed that five. Maybe he was starving to death and needed to make a trip to Wendy’s. More impressive than his ability to do anything for a buck, is the impressive roll he does over his friend’s vehicle. He lands on his feet! In fact the only reason he ends up falling is because he is suffering from shock.

Burnout Bash

This guy purposefully ran in front of a car that was preparing to do a burnout. He watched on the sidelines for the moment the car was ready to break away and then jumped in front of it. You can tell how happy he is with himself because he runs toward the camera screaming and holding his hands up. Here is an unfortunate fact: a car at the beginning of a burnout goes much slower than a car already traveling at full speed. As a result, this guy was barely hit with any force. Sorry to ruin your fun buddy.

Jackass

Of course no one does stupid shit than the good guys over at MTV’s Jackass. Johnny Knoxville, in one of his first movies ever gets hit by a car and then actually holds onto the roof while it drives away. Leave it to him to endure physical pain in style!
