Ridley Scott Talks New Alien Prequel

We finally have a time-frame for this new Alien movie that is coming out. Director Ridley Scott himself says that the prequel will take place approximately thirty years before the first Alien movie, back when all the aliens were listening to disco and wearing platform shoes. Uh, hold on … we probably got our time lines mixed up somewhere in the middle. Anyway, Xenomorph afro or not, relative newcomer Jon Spaihts will be writing the script. [Empire]
