Rob Zombie is continuing his life’s goal to remake every old horror movie into a contemporary horror masterpiece by setting his sights on The Blob. That’s pretty cool, because even the original 1958 Blob scared us. No seriously, this is a creature that can hop up from the toilet and dissolve your ass from the inside out while your taking a shit. Wouldn’t you be scared by that? Still, the original blob was essentially a mass of Jello that went around absorbing people and Rob Zombie thinks that wouldn’t be as scary to modern day audiences. What is the blob if not a gigantic ball of cannibalistic Jello? Well we will just have to wait to find out. [Variety]
