Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in Source Code, a sci-fi thriller by Duncan Jones (Moon). Our sources confirm that Jake’s seriously considering the role but that no deal has been made. The movie is about a soldier who wakes up in the mind and body of a random commuter on a train that is about to be bombed. He tries to stop the bombing and fails, but then has to relive the bombing over, and over, and over again. It’s kind of like Groundhog’s Day with horrible horrible death scenes. [Variety]
