For a while there, fans were getting worried that the whole Deadpool thing probably wasn’t going to happen, considering that Ryan Reynolds had signed on to play The Green Lantern for the DC comics adaptation. However, Rob Liefeld, Deadpool’s creator, has assured us via Twitter that the movie is still moving forward. Ryan Reynolds is definitley on board, the character will me much like the old Marvel comics character, not any sort of modern adaptation. The whole thing promises to be downright awesome, so all your skeptic fans can put your fears to rest. [Twitter]
