The Candidate is a Danish thriller, and by that we mean it is a thriller from Denmark, not a thriller about delicious breakfast pastries. The plot is about a lawyer who wakes up in a hotel room to find a woman dead in the bathroom. Like that hasn’t happened to all of us before. Sam Worthington will play the lead and Beau Willimon will write the adaptation. [Variety]
