James Wan and Leigh Whannell were the original creators of the Saw franchise. They threw together a great horror movie premise for mere pennies and shocked everyone. Now, they aren’t involved with the Saw franchise anymore, and are supposedly looking for another chance to do something creative. In comes Oren Peli, Jason Blum, and Steven Schneider of Paranormal Activity fame, who will be teaming up with Wan and Whannell to create yet another low-budget horror flick, Insidious. No details on the plot, but you can be certain it will be seriously fucked up. [Variety]
