Spider-Man 4 Gets Yet Another Re-write

Gary Ross, who directed Tobey Maguire in Seabiscuit and Pleasantville, will be rewriting the script for Spider-Man 4, a third time. Seriously? The original script was written by James Vanderbilt, and David Lindsay-Abaire gave it a pass over, and now it has to be re-written again? What the hell is the matter with you guys? Can’t decide on a villian? Can’t solidify the Mary Jane love plot? Can’t decide what crazy Uncle Ben flashbacks Spidey is going to get this time. Here is a hint, pick a random Spider-Man comic and do that. It can’t possibly be as bad as Spider-Man 3 was. [Variety]
