The path to the Star Trek sequel is a rough one. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman need to watch all the old episodes of the original series, then they need to finish their work on Fringe, then they need to watch more Star Trek, then they need to get drunk, and then they need to watch yet more old Star Trek.
