The Film Department, the people behind Law Abiding Citizen, has acquired the rights to True Memoirs of an International Assassin. The story is about an accountant who writes a fictional story about his dual life as an international assassin. Unfortunately, when this story is published, everyone thinks he really is an international assassin. So much so, that he is contracted to kill the prime minister of Belize for $2 million in cash. The price for failure? Death. [Variety]
