So after months of rumors and speculation, it turns out that the 1981 hit Excalibur, the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, will actually be remade, most notably because of the new federal legislation that states every movie from the ’80s must be remade for some reason. Fortunately, Bryan Singer is attached to direct, and he is going to take his damn sweet time, considering he still has Battlestar Galactica and Jack the Giant Killer to worry about. [THR]
