Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton will both star in Universal’s The Thing, a remake of the classic movie about a shape-shifting alien that terrorizes everyone, for no reason other than to be a gigantic douche-bag we suspect. Winstead will play a researcher in Antarctica who finds the alien ship, while Edgerton will play a helicopter pilot who is out to stop the alien rampage. [Heat Vision]
