Thor Update: July 29, 2010

Leaked from Comic Con, this “trailer” (which is technically a five-minute film real) finally made it on-line today. It’s about time too! Sure, the pics of Chris Hemsworth wielding Mjöllnir and looking all buffed-out were cool, but we need some 24fps to really get our Thor action fix. The first look appears to be equal parts bad-ass and ridiculous!

Thor Update: July 21, 2010

Earlier this week we got to see more of Thor‘s sets, and now we’re getting a new shot of the God of Thunder himself. Chris Hemsworth is looking the part, with his trusty hammer Mjolnir and some massive biceps. I would not want to go up against this guy, and that’s definitely the right look for a man like Thor.

Thor Update: July 19, 2010

The latest pic from the set of the Kenneth Branagh directed superhero film Thor has been released and it’s a huge one. Sure, it doesn’t give a good peek at any of the stars of the film, but just take a look at that set! Wow! The scale and grandeur of the set hearkens back to the epic films of the mid 20th century where a high quality set and beautiful matte were all a cinematographer needed to make a sweeping epic of epic epicness. Thor Update: June 3, 2010

Yesterday we were geeking out pretty hard over the latest Captain American concept art. Sure it’s not official but it’s as good as we are going to currently get. Hot on the heels of The First Avenger art is the latest from Marvel featuring concept artwork from Thor. Sure an image of Chris Hemsworth as Thor was released this past April, but that picture didn’t really give us a full look at the hammer-wielding Norse god of thunder.
