Tron Legacy Team Gets Sucked Into a Black Hole
The ongoing trend of remaking old and awesome science fiction movies continues. Joseph Kosinski and Sean Bailey, the director and producer who are bringing us Tron Legacy in the near future, will also be bringing us Black Hole. For those of you who weren’t around in 1979, Black Hole was a film about a mad scientist who planned to turn his crew into robots solely for the purpose of sending them through a black hole, and the spaceship crew that uncovers this plot and ends up going through the hole with him. The original was more of a psychological thriller, so we are actually excited about a modern take on the film. If they decide to stay true to the original, there is no end to the mindfuckery Kosinski can produce through the strategic use of modern VFX. [Heat Vision]
