That is a lot of ronin! It seems that Universal has just about struck a deal with first time director Carl Eric Rinsch to make 47 Ronin, a samurai epic based on the true story of a band of swordsmen out to avenge the death of their master. The script was written by Chris Morgan, who did Wanted, which means that the action in this flick will most likely be awesome. We are being promised epic battles on the scale of 300. Don’t disappoint us Rinsch! [Variety]
