Warren Ellis (writer of every good comic book ever) has been writing a script for the guys who did 300 based on the King Arthur myths. Supposedly their intent was to call the movie Excalibur, but since there have already been plenty of King Arthur movies named Excalibur, most of very high quality, the name is still “officially” up in the air. Ellis swears that this movie will be very different than the multitudes of King Arthur movies that came before it, and will focus on Arthur’s search for worthy Knights of the Round Table.
