Sam Jackson, plain and simple, has no idea if he is going to be in any upcoming Marvel movie. Supposedly he is supposed to be contacted for any movie where Nick Fury has to make an appearance. However, Sam simply says that he hasn’t been contacted for any Marvel movie really. He was recently interviewed about his upcoming role in Thor, to which is his response was “what role in Thor?” Sam Jackson had been listed as a member of the cast before he was even contacted about his role. The same goes for any other movie that Nick Fury is supposed to be in, including Captain America and The Avengers. Who does Sam Jackson blame? Disney of course. Apparently he has been left out of the loop ever since Disney bought Marvel. He isn’t even sure if his original deal with Marvel still stands now that Mickey Mouse is running the show. [MTV]
