Childhood in mid-town Manhattan. Teenage years on Strong Island. Slacker years lost on the Lower East Side, when it still was the Lower East Side. Did a little judo, a little wrestling and a bunch of streetfighting. Spent a decade in the Army, jumping out of airplanes. Now living in DC.
