Now playing: Doug Liman Blog: My First Afternoon in Haiti
As many of you know, I recently flew down to Haiti. This video is from my first afternoon scouting in Port-au-Prince and a walk through of the camp where we stayed with the US Military and Sean Penn, with whom I worked with on Fair Game and who has become a friend. Sean is doing some inspiring work in Haiti. Sean’s NGO (Non Governmental Organization), that he and Diana Jenkins founded to help the relief effort, runs medical clinics, aids in the distribution of food and supplies to over 75,000 homeless Haitian survivors, and much more. Sean is not just lending his name to this organization. He is living in Haiti, camping outside with his team and doing everything in his power to help.

Hi Doug,
I recent read an article in the LA Times about a joint effort between yourself and Precious producers who intend to collaborate on yet another movie about Attica.
I wrote a comment to that article which I am not sure if you saw but I would like to make direct contact with you and others about this new release and offer my expertise on this subject matter being the only person convicted falsely for killing guard William Quinn during the rebellion.
I met your father Arthur during the Liman hearing and gave testimony to his representatives in Greenhaven prison after the revolt.
Also, today I am an accomplished actor and can be seen in upcoming western called the Last Rites of Ransom Pride with Kris Kristofferson.
None of the many movies on Attica have captured what really happened there and I am one of the few remaining people left alive that can bring that truth to light.
I would really like to hear from you.
Peace
John Boncore aka John Hill
John – One of Doug’s producers is going to email you. Thanks for the note. – Julina
