MMA champion, Gina Carano trained outside Madison Square Garden at a Showtime press event promoting her upcoming fight with Cris Cyborg. Gina’s given herself the nickname: “Conviction” but the name that’s starting to stick on her is “The Face” of women’s MMA. On August 15th, Gina goes into the cage with Cris Cyborg in what will probably be one of her toughest matches ever. Gina’s strong and has mad skills but Cris is fierce and relentless and will put of a huge fight. It seems clear that the media and the crowd will be routing for “The Face” but I’m thinking Cyborg has a real chance to beat Gina. Let’s hope Gina’s training as hard as she’s promoting herself and Showtime!
