Ip Man 2 is opening on April 29th in Hong Kong and I’m considering flying there to catch it. This sequel focuses on Ip Man’s move to Hong Kong after fleeing China, difficulties in teaching Wing Chun and introduces his most famous pupil, Bruce Lee. Tony Cheong gave me the DVD of Ip Man, starring Donnie Yen, last year and it quickly became one of my favorite movies. The movie is about the life of Ip Man, a Grandmaster of the martial art Wing Chun and his experiences during the Janpanese invasion of China in the 1930′s.
