Branagh extends the climax for this Shakespeare adaptation by several minutes, setting Patrick Doyle’s choral-symphonic rendition of the ‘Non Nobis’ hymn behind a single tracking shot that follows Henry as he carries the dead body of a boy over his shoulders across the corpse- strewn field of Agincourt. The long take starts at 3:29 and really emphasizes the human cost of the war.
