Ow Is for Effort

No matter how cool a jump over a moving van is, the jump that falls just short and ends up landing the biker on his head is always much more popular. Tragically popular.

I Meant to Do That

The wheelie is one of the simplest bike stunts in existence, and you yourself may have tried one back in the day when you were riding your two-wheeler down your home street. Of course, add a motor to that bike and wheelies become slightly more dangerous. Lean a bit too far back and not only will you fall off your bike, but your bike becomes a dangerous high-speed projectile screaming off in some thoroughly unpredictable direction. A wrecked bike and a wrecked car is double the fail, and double the fail, double the fun!

Human Motorcycle Ramp

The fail in this video is not on the part of the biker, but on the part of his ramp. (Did I mention it’s a human ramp?) I’m not entirely sure what made these guys think this was a good idea, but strangely enough, the bike did get nearly enough air to clear the clever fellow playing the part of the ramp. Fun, I suppose, for the biker, but a face full of wheel for the ramp.

Worst Commute Ever

Parkour is a funny art. The only way to master the art of jumping from extremely high places to other extremely high places is to start practicing closer to the ground. Unfortunately, the way we humans learn from practice is by screwing up, and screwing up a massive jump like this one, down the full length of an escalator, has some … unfortunate consequences. Yes, that is blood on the floor, so this video is not for the squeamish.

“Crazy Dave,” and Other Buffoons

There is a universe of stunts, from simple backyard flips to major productions. However, any of them can go wrong. Failing a stunt does not necessarily indicate a lack of skill; in fact, many stunts fail simply because the wind was blowing the wrong way when they were executed. That is how delicate stunt preparation can be. However … that doesn’t actually apply to these idiots, who fail their stunts primarily because they simply didn’t bother to think through their planned buffoonery. Face-plants into the sides of trucks, self-castrating high dives, and painful trampoline dunks all arise from people overshooting their own abilities. I assure you, most of these people will think harder next time they plan their extravagant feats of failure. Funny. Painful … but funny.
