Now playing: Terminator Salvation

You know, Christian Bale really is an extraordinary actor. I mean, he seems practically normal onscreen, when in reality this is going through his head. Now, that is acting talent! Anyway, in Terminator Salvation, he gets to play John Connor, and basically go nuts wild with his God-given violent streak, because … he is fighting a war… against robots! Yeah, a lot of people are saying we didn’t need another Terminator movie, especially not one without Arnold in it, but I think it will be worth a gander, if only to continue the Terminator story-line. That and the special effects look amazing. You can be sure that die-hard fans of the series and curious newcomers will combine to push the box office numbers for this movie sky high. (Maybe the producers will be kind enough to toss a few bucks Gov. Schwarzenegger’s way to help him close California’s yawning annual budget deficit.)
