Verizon partnered with 30 Ninjas to test their 5G network by live streaming an entire game in 4Kx4K stereo 180 over 5G – a world-first endeavor. Faced with a significant distance from the field, we ingeniously designed a custom hyper-stereo rig to enhance stereo imaging from 300ft. For exterior shots, we utilized a Jaunt One, while close interiors were captured using an A7SII on a nodal head.
The optimal viewing experience is in a VR headset with headphones, allowing viewers to fully appreciate the spatial audio mix. This collaboration pushed the boundaries of live streaming technology and showcased the capabilities of Verizon's 5G network.
